Daaaaaa Bard by calidoc

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is the engine at the center of this Azorius Human/token deck. The primary plan is to land Bard early, then convert every extra draw and token trigger into double value through token makers like Adeline, Prince Imrahil, and Mister Fantastic. The secondary path is a control-combat hybrid: hold up counterspells and instant removal, accumulate a wide board, then alpha-strike after an anthem such as The Arkenstone or Thorin's Last Stand. Bard's replacement effects make the deck unusually good at both card advantage and go-wide aggression. There is no hidden commander; the supporting legends (Bard, Heir of Girion, Faramir, and friends) are synergistic but not substitutes.
