Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim and operates as a hybrid Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap Zombie enablers and lords early, accumulating life through enters triggers, and using token generators like Diregraf Colossus, Headless Rider, and Grave Titan to flood the board. As the Zombie horde expands, lords such as Death Baron, Lord of the Accursed, and Undead Warchief turn modest 2/2 tokens into lethal combat threats endowed with deathtouch and menace. Concurrently, sacrifice outlets and death triggers from Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim and Vengeful Dead turn opposing board wipes and combat trades into direct life drain against all opponents. Top-end finishers like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Josu Vess, Lich Knight, and Army of the Damned deliver the final burst of lethal pressure.
