Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Voltron strategy built around Yuffie, Materia Hunter. The primary plan leverages cheap, evasive enablers like Ornithopter to cheat Yuffie onto the battlefield through ninjutsu. Upon entry, Yuffie steals an opponent's key noncreature artifact and immediately attaches an Equipment from your board for free, entirely bypassing burdensome equip costs like the eight mana required for Colossus Hammer. From there, the deck applies aggressive commander damage to eliminate opponents one by one. While the deck boasts high explosive potential against individual targets, its reach is bottlenecked by the traditional hurdles of multiplayer Voltron. Because it lacks extra-combat steps, stack interaction, and dense equipment tutors, it must navigate prolonged turn cycles where opponents have ample opportunity to interact with spot removal and sweepers.
