Deck overview

This deck is a combat-centric aggro strategy commanded by Isshin, Two Heavens as One, built around Samurai tribal synergies, equipment, and 'attacks alone' mechanics. Isshin acts as a force multiplier, doubling every attack trigger on permanents you control. Rather than swarming with a wide token board, the deck frequently channels its offensive power into a single formidable attacker bolstered by exalted-style triggers like Angelic Exaltation, Sigil of Valor, and Idolized, alongside combat doublers such as Two-Handed Axe // Sweeping Cleave and extra-combat engines like Raiyuu, Storm's Edge and Akki Battle Squad. While the deck threatens sudden, high-burst lethal damage against individual players, its reliance on solitary combat steps naturally lengthens its clock across a four-player pod, requiring three sequential combat rounds to eliminate all opponents. The list maintains a healthy land base and functional spot removal, but relies on natural draws due to a lack of tutors and comprehensive protection engines.
