Sultai Arisen by Alex_Paquette50

Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Sultai self-mill deck is helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale, who generates recurring value each attack by milling three cards and returning a land from the graveyard to the battlefield, while also creating 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. The primary game plan is to fill the graveyard aggressively through creatures like Hedron Crab, Stitcher's Supplier, and spells like Grisly Salvage, then leverage that filled graveyard for massive creatures (Lord of Extinction, Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar, Consuming Aberration) and finish opponents via Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord's sacrifice drain or through overwhelming combat with reanimated threats. The deck also features mass reanimation spells like Living Death and Afterlife from the Loam to rebuild the board, and a robust recursion engine (Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Phyrexian Reclamation, Shigeki, Jukai Visionary) to ensure value persists.
