Deck overview

Kastral, the Windcrested heads a Bird-tribal tempo deck that turns fliers and token armies into combat triggers. The primary plan is to build a wide board of Birds and other creature tokens, connect with at least one Bird each combat, and use Kastral's modes to draw cards, put +1/+1 counters on the flock, or reanimate a Bird with a finality counter. Murmuration is the core engine, while Jazal Goldmane, Elspeth, Sun's Champion, and Valley Questcaller convert the swarm into a lethal alpha strike. Maskwood Nexus makes every creature count as a Bird, and Ishai acts as a secondary growing Bird. The deck plays a control-aggro game with Teferi, Narset, and versatile removal, but has no deterministic combo.
