Commander: The Howling Abomination

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Howling Abomination leads a red-green spellslinger deck that turns cheap targeting cantrips into explosive card advantage and damage. By copying spells with Zada, Mirrorwing Dragon, or Leyline of Resonance, the deck chains together draws, treasures, and pump effects to fuel a storm finish or an overwhelming combat step. The commander's haste and triggered damage amplify each spell, making it both an engine and a finisher. The deck is fast, consistent, and packed with protection, though it relies heavily on creature presence and has limited answers to permanent-based disruption.
