Avengers Assemble by pauloa25

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain America, Team Leader

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Captain America, Team Leader leads a Jeskai Hero tribal beatdown deck. The core plan is to put Captain into play early, then deploy the other Heroes behind him: every Hero that enters gains haste and vigilance plus a +1/+1 counter, while Captain America himself also grows, quickly turning into a commander-damage clock. Secondary paths are evasive attacks, card draw, and steady recursion from Avengers Quinjet, Winter Soldier, and Gift of Immortality. The closest hidden commander in the 99 is Captain America, Living Legend, whose untap ability keeps the first tapped Hero effective each turn. The deck is built to use the Team Leader face and does not rely on a double-faced commander.
