Deck overview

This Selesnya midrange deck leverages Angel tribal synergies and lifegain mechanics under the protection of Sigarda, Font of Blessings. Early turns focus on establishing mana dorks and tribal cost reducers such as Giada, Font of Hope and Starnheim Aspirant. Once Sigarda enters on Turn 4, she shields your other permanents with hexproof while providing steady card flow from the top of your library. The deck builds a massive aerial board using lifegain anthems like Righteous Valkyrie and Archangel of Thune, quickly putting opponents under lethal pressure. In addition to conventional flying combat damage, Angel of Destiny provides an alternate win condition when your life total climbs 15 above starting. Defensive static pieces like The Book of Exalted Deeds, Platinum Angel, and Authority of the Consuls slow down opposing aggression, ensuring you retain board superiority into the late game.
