Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, is the engine of this Boros Dwarf deck: every Dwarf cast becomes a Treasure, and each Treasure makes the other Dwarves hit harder. The deck uses that engine to chain cheap Dwarves into a wide board, then closes through Dain of the Ancient Halls' damage, Balin, Loremaster's drain, or Hellkite Tyrant's twenty-artifact upkeep trigger. Magda, Brazen Outlaw, acts as a hidden commander, generating Treasures off tapped Dwarves and tutoring the artifact/Dragon finishers. Secondary paths use Equipment and Dragon payoffs such as Goldspan Dragon and Smaug. The deck is an aggressive midrange value engine with a compact burst turn rather than a combo deck.
