Etali by Skomoto

Format: Commander

Commander: Etali, Primal Conqueror // Etali, Primal Sickness

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Gruul deck is built to maximize the explosive ETB trigger of Etali, Primal Conqueror, exiling cards from each player's library and casting them for free. Ramp is the primary engine - 17+ mana accelerants (elves, land-tutors, rocks) allow Etali to land as early as turn 4. Once in play, the deck leans heavily on token-copy effects (Delina, Wild Mage, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Rionya, Fire Dancer) and trigger multipliers (Panharmonicon, Strionic Resonator, Conjurer's Closet) to generate multiple Etali triggers per turn, snowballing into a massive board of free threats. The backup plan involves transforming Etali into Etali, Primal Sickness for a poison kill, or simply overwhelming opponents with hasty dinosaurs and burn from Terror of the Peaks. The deck is linear but powerful - ramp, cast Etali, copy him, win.
