Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov legendary aristocrats build centered on Ratadrabik of Urborg. The core game plan focuses on casting legendary creatures and converting their deaths into nonlegendary 2/2 Zombie token duplicates. Through cards like Boromir, Warden of the Tower—where Boromir's sacrifice ability triggers 'the Ring tempts you', allowing the newly created Zombie Boromir token to become the legendary Ring-bearer—the deck creates infinite death and enter-the-battlefield triggers. Supported by sacrifice outlets such as Phyrexian Altar and drain payoffs including Sephiroth, Kambal, and The Sackville-Bagginses, it systematically drains the entire table. Defensive layers like Flare of Fortitude and Spectacular Spider-Man shield the board, while stax-adjacent tools like Grave Pact and Elesh Norn suppress opposing combat and board presence. With low tutor density, the deck plays a deliberate midrange game, accumulating compounding resource advantage before executing lethal aristocrat loops around Turns 6 to 7.
