Counter Intelligence

Format: Commander

Commander: Inspirit, Flagship Vessel

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Inspirit, Flagship Vessel leads a charge-counter artifact deck. The primary plan is to stack charges on Darksteel Reactor while using Inspirit's combat trigger, Coretapper, Surge Node, and a thick proliferate package to reach twenty counters. Tekuthal acts as the hidden engine because it doubles every proliferate. The fallback closes with Cyberdrive Awakener animating a board of artifacts, backed by Alibou's haste and burn plus Wake the Past recursion. Inspirit's 8+ ability gives the artifact board hexproof and indestructible, converting the commander into a protection piece once the Station threshold is met. The deck is a slow, synergistic engine rather than a fast combo; it wins by either protecting an unstoppable counter clock or overwhelming the table with animated flyers.
