Aragorn by p22

Format: Commander

Commander: Aragorn, King of Gondor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Aragorn, King of Gondor leads a Jeskai Human tribal deck that wins by going wide and staying the monarch. The primary plan builds a board of Humans that generate tokens and draw cards, then attacks with Aragorn making the team unblockable while you are monarch. Secondary paths use two infinite loops: Gilraen, Dunedain Protector plus Village Bell-Ringer for infinite ETBs and untaps, and Bard, King of Dale plus Gleaming Splendor plus Smothering Tithe for infinite Treasures and draws. Aragorn is a draw engine and combat enabler, not a combo piece. Hidden commanders are Bard, King of Dale and Kindred Discovery, which double draws and tokens and drive the deck when Aragorn is absent.
