Deck overview

This Golgari deck uses Beledros Witherbloom as a premier token engine and mana multiplier. Early turns focus on accelerating mana using low-cost mana dorks and land-ramp spells. By Turn 4 or 5, Beledros lands on the battlefield, immediately refunding its 7-mana cost by paying 10 life to untap all lands. During each player's upkeep, Beledros produces Pest tokens that provide a steady stream of fodder, lifegain, and sacrificial value. The deck converts these tokens into overwhelming board presence using token doublers like Parallel Lives and Primal Vigor, or turns them into lethal mana with Ashnod's Altar and Enduring Vitality. Game closure occurs around Turn 6 or 7 through massive Craterhoof Behemoth trample overruns, large Exsanguinate bursts, or relentless aristocrat drain from Mirkwood Bats and Nadier's Nightblade. Robust removal keeps opponents in check while the engine scales.
