Vecna, The Archlich by m1ny57

Format: Commander

Commander: The Speed Demon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Speed Demon is a monoblack value-and-voltron deck that races to max speed by having opponents lose life every turn, then converts that speed into massive end-step draw. Its primary plan is to suit up the commander with damage-doubling equipment and kill via 21 commander damage, while a secondary path uses the card draw to assemble a Repay in Kind + Exsanguinate life-total equalizer. A heavy artifact/equipment package provides protection, recursion, and alternate threats like Psychosis Crawler and Bolas's Citadel. Despite a slow speed ramp, tutors and draw spells give the deck a reliable mid-game finish.
