Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black discard and theft control deck commanded by Tinybones, the Pickpocket. The strategy focuses on stripping opponents of resources through symmetric discard and sacrifice engines like Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists, Braids, Cabal Minion, and Liliana of the Veil. Once opponents run out of cards, the deck breaks parity by using Tinybones, the Pickpocket, Tergrid, God of Fright, and Dauthi Voidwalker to cast or steal discarded and milled threats directly from opposing graveyards. Big mana engines such as Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx fuel high-impact plays, while reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead ensure resilience against removal. The deck closes games using stolen armies, a swarm of 2/2 Zombies generated by Awaken the Erstwhile, or passive life drain from Syr Konrad, the Grim and The Meathook Massacre.
