Deck overview

This is a toughness-matters Treefolk/Wolf/Bear combat deck helmed by Doran, Besieged by Time. The primary plan is to deploy high-toughness, low-power creatures at a discount (Doran's cost reduction), then pump them with Doran's attack trigger and a suite of combat tricks to push through lethal combat damage. Secondary synergies include incidental lifegain feeding Well of Lost Dreams and Witch of the Moors, token generation from Chief Warg's Company and Sapling Nursery, and light graveyard recursion via Reaping Willow and Hazel's Nocturne. The deck contains no infinite combos - it is a fair, grindy midrange deck that wins through repeated, increasingly large attacks, with Defense of the Heart as its only real tutor and Gigantic Big Bear as its premier finisher.
