This Esper deck pairs The Ur-Sphinx with twenty copies of Sphinx's Approach to create an engine that draws cards and cheats giant flying creatures onto the battlefield. The passive cost reduction from the command zone accelerates early Sphinx deployments, while casting and resolving multiple copies of Sphinx's Approach rapidly digs through the library and stocks the graveyard. Once five copies of the instant reach the graveyard, casting another copy tutors high-impact game-enders such as Magister Sphinx, Consecrated Sphinx, or Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign directly into play. Defensive enchantments like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison stall opponent attacks while the flying army assembles. The deck finishes games through massive evasive combat damage and life-setting triggers, backed by efficient white and blue removal.
