Deck overview

This Simic midrange deck centers on Primo, the Unbounded, leveraging +1/+1 counters and base-power-0 Fractal tokens to overwhelm opponents with massive combat damage. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration through efficient dorks and ramp spells, followed by counter doublers such as Branching Evolution and Doubling Season. Once Primo hits the board, each combat connection generates exponentially larger Fractal tokens. The deck supports this aggressive growth with potent draw engines like Fathom Mage, instant-speed defensive shielding such as Heroic Intervention and Ripples of Potential, and game-ending finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and Herald of Secret Streams. If the commander is removed, standalone powerhouses like Body of Research and Simic Ascendancy provide reliable alternate paths to victory.
