Talrand, Sky Summoner is the deck's engine: every instant and sorcery creates a Drake, so the primary plan is to land Talrand early, then use cheap cantrips, draw spells, and counters to generate a flying army while keeping the table off-balance. The secondary path is a control finish through Rise from the Tides, turning a filled graveyard into zombie tokens, and Lier, Disciple of the Drowned giving every instant and sorcery flashback for extra Talrand triggers. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built entirely around Talrand's single face, with Baral and Archmage Emeritus supporting the spell-slinging engine.
