Deck overview

This is a five-color "bending" theme deck helmed by Avatar Aang // Aang, Master of Elements, built around the waterbend/earthbend/firebend/airbend mechanics and a dense Ally creature tribal core. The front face draws a card every time you perform any bend, and once you've done all four in a turn he transforms into the back face, which slashes your spell costs by one of each color and piles on upkeep value: life, cards, counters, and 4 damage to each opponent. The deck wins primarily through combat - Ally token swarms, land-creatures animated by earthbending (with double strike from Toph, Greatest Earthbender), and extra combats from Bumi, Unleashed - while The Legend of Kyoshi and The Legend of Roku turn your land base into a mana engine and threat base. It's a value-and-synergy deck that grinds into inevitability rather than comboing off.
