Squall Mills Again by user4149826

Format: Commander

Commander: Squall, SeeD Mercenary

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An Orzhov graveyard-aggro deck built around Squall, SeeD Mercenary. Self-mill fills the yard, and Squall attacks alone as an unblockable double striker, returning cheap permanents each time it hits. That grind is the primary plan; the secondary, faster path is an infinite sacrifice combo: Warren Soultrader (a Zombie itself) plus Gravecrawler and Bastion of Remembrance drains all opponents, with Pitiless Plunderer or altars generating extra treasure and mana. The deck is remarkably independent of its commander-0 of 7 combo lines use Squall-and includes protection and stax pieces such as Grand Abolisher, Boromir, and Selfless Spirit. Its main fragility is a shallow stack game: no real counterspells, so one instant-speed removal can break a combo turn unless protection is already on board.
