Yuma, Protector of the Scorching Sands by kaosthry

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuma, Proud Protector

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Naya lands deck built to put Deserts and other lands into the graveyard, then exploit them with Yuma, Proud Protector. Yuma acts as a cost-reduced draw engine and Desert-token factory; each land card in the yard lowers his cost, while sacrificing lands keeps the draws coming. The deck's secondary engine is Hazezon, Shaper of Sand, effectively a hidden commander, which turns every Desert landfall into Sand Warrior tokens. Those tokens feed Purphoros, God of the Forge, Field of the Dead, and Warstorm Surge for burst damage. Recursion from Splendid Reclamation, Ramunap Excavator, and Crucible of Worlds allows repeated land sacrifice, and Scapeshift acts as the mass enter-the-battlefield finish.
