Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a blisteringly fast mono-red spellslinger/burn deck helmed by Longshot, Rebel Bowman. Longshot reduces the cost of every noncreature spell by {1} and pings each opponent for 2 whenever you cast one, turning the entire deck into a burn engine. The plan is to chain rituals, impulse draw, and cheap interaction into a critical mass of spells, finishing through Aetherflux Reservoir life-gain storm, Underworld Breach loops with Grinding Station for infinite mill, or raw table-wide burn from Longshot plus Kessig Flamebreather and the Wizard tokens from Lindblum, Industrial Regency // Mage Siege and Vivi's Persistence. With an absurd fast-mana density - Mishra's Workshop, Ancient Tomb, Chrome Mox, Mox Opal, Mox Diamond, Lotus Petal, Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Grim Monolith, Basalt Monolith, and five rituals - the deck routinely threatens wins by turn 3-4. Blood Moon and Defense Grid protect the combo turn while Final Fortune provides the extra turn to close.
