Deck overview

This deck is a casual Boros combat aggro strategy led by Hofri Ghostforge. The game plan focuses on curving out with low-cost creatures during the early turns, establishing board presence, and casting Hofri on Turn 5. Once on the battlefield, Hofri grants static buffs, trample, and haste to Spirits while creating token Spirit copies of any nontoken creatures that die in combat. The deck leverages team-wide pump spells such as Burn Bright and Phalanx Formation to push through lethal combat damage across multiple rotations. Because the deck lacks fast mana, nonland tutors, and combo finishes, it operates at a traditional table pace, relying on natural land drops and top-deck draws. Its interaction package features direct damage, temporary exile enchantments, and targeted combat tricks to navigate opposing blockers.
