Deck overview

This deck is a specialized 5-color Superfriends control strategy piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. It leverages a dense suite of Jace planeswalkers alongside artifact ramp to establish early board presence and card selection. Passive combat taxes from the commander and Onakke Oathkeeper disincentivize early creature attacks against your walkers, allowing loyalty counters to accumulate steadily. The mid-game focuses on controlling the board through flexible removal like Anguished Unmaking, Cyclonic Rift, and targeted countermagic. Win conditions center around explosive loyalty doubling via Deepglow Skate, extra-turn proliferation with Ichormoon Gauntlet, or an infinite activation loop between Teferi, Temporal Archmage and The Chain Veil. Once the loop generates arbitrary mana and card draw, the deck finishes immediately using Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or by exiling all opposing libraries with Jace, Reality Sculptor.
