Deck overview

Winter, Misanthropic Guide leads a Jund discard and drain deck. Winter draws everyone two extra cards on your upkeep and, once delirium is active, shrinks opponents' hand size to force discards. The deck layers discard payoffs like Fell Specter, Raiders' Wake, Waste Not, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse with draw punishers like Orcish Bowmasters, Underworld Dreams, and Scrawling Crawler to drain life each turn. Delirium cards such as Fear of Burning Alive and The Rollercrusher Ride scale once four card types fill your graveyard. With no infinite combo, wins come from incremental life loss and combat from Barrowgoyf and Aclazotz. Winter accelerates the engine but the deck can grind without her.
