New Untitled Deck by Alvaro

Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Sultai self-mill combo deck helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The core plan is to fill the graveyard through mill effects (Hermit Druid, Hedron Crab, Stitcher's Supplier, Sidisi, Brood Tyrant), convert that graveyard into mana and card advantage, and close the game with a compact two-card combo - most efficiently Hermit Druid emptying the library into Thassa's Oracle, or Tainted Pact into the same Oracle. Teval is a genuine value engine - attacking mills three, recurs a land, and makes a 2/2 Zombie Druid whenever cards leave the graveyard - but the win conditions live entirely in the 99. The deck also packs a redundant zombie drain line (Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar + Syr Konrad, the Grim) and a Craterhoof combat fallback. Because the commander is one of several recursive engines rather than a required piece, the deck executes at near-full capacity even if Teval never resolves.
