Tergrid, che giurnedi by Shdhydhegs

Format: Commander

Commander: Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black Tergrid deck is a discard and sacrifice stax deck built to use Tergrid, God of Fright as its payoff engine, not Tergrid's Lantern. The front face steals every nontoken permanent opponents sacrifice or discard, turning Smallpox, Pox, Braids and Burglar Rat effects into permanent theft, while the Lantern back is an incidental drain tool rarely activated. Secondary paths are two compact infinite combos: Bloodchief Ascension + Mindcrank for infinite mill and drain and Chain of Smog + Professor Onyx / Sedgemoor Witch for infinite magecraft drain and Pest tokens. Hidden commanders are Professor Onyx and Bloodchief Ascension, which provide independent win engines when Tergrid is unavailable.
