Deck overview

This deck is a five-color big-mana spellslinger and theft archetype piloted by Jodah, Archmage Eternal. The primary game plan focuses on establishing early five-color mana fixing to deploy Jodah on curve, unlocking his WUBRG alternate casting cost to cheat massive, game-altering permanents and spells into play turns ahead of schedule. The deck's core identity revolves around weaponizing opponents' libraries and graveyards through powerful theft engines such as Etali, Primal Storm, Arvinox, the Mind Flail, Stolen Strategy, Wand of Wonder, and Shared Fate. In addition to casting opponents' best threats for free or reduced mana, the deck generates significant board pressure using spell-trigger payoffs like Shark Typhoon and Storm of Saruman. Resilient equipment such as Whispersilk Cloak and Bilbo's Ring safeguards key attackers, while recursion spells like Brought Back provide recovery against sweepers. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through overwhelming combat damage from evasive tokens and stolen threats.
