Deck overview

Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar provide a strong commander-accessible combat shell. The primary plan uses ramp to deploy both commanders, finds Blackblade Reforged through Tribute Mage, and equips it to Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator. A connecting attack deals damage to one opponent and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreads that damage to the other two. Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator adds Treasures, but the deck does not usually convert those Treasures into immediate cards or a compact combo. The first serious threat arrives around turn 6, and repeated attacks finish around turn 10 if opponents do nothing. The deck has useful counters, creature removal, artifact removal, and some Equipment protection, but the primary line remains exposed to blockers and common removal. Its strongest alternate plans involve artifact control, Hullbreaker Horror, Mycosynth Lattice, and large damage multipliers, but those plans are slower and less accessible than the commander combat route.
