Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Orzhov Combo Aristocrats list designed to exploit a unique rules interaction between Ratadrabik of Urborg and Nazgûl. By including the maximum legal nine copies of Nazgûl, the deck maximizes the consistency of drawing its key combo piece. When Nazgûl enters the battlefield, the Ring tempts mechanic designates it as the Ring-bearer, making it legendary. Sacrificing it with Ratadrabik of Urborg in play generates a non-legendary Zombie token copy of Nazgûl, which immediately triggers the Ring again to become legendary, generating an infinite sacrifice and enter loop. Supported by explosive fast mana such as Mana Vault, Dark Ritual, and Chrome Mox, the deck routinely threatens a turn-4 kill via drain outlets or Altar of Dementia. However, the list runs virtually no card draw engines, making it vulnerable to early sweepers and interaction that depletes its opening resources.
