Isshin by user7458240

Format: Commander

Commander: Isshin, Two Heavens as One

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu attack-trigger deck uses Isshin, Two Heavens as One to double every "when this attacks" trigger, turning token generators like Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon and Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin into exponential armies. The primary plan is to curve a 2-drop into Isshin on turn 3, add an engine on turn 4, then use attack-trigger extra-combat spells Aurelia, the Warleader, Godo, Bandit Warlord, Karlach, Fury of Avernus, or Raiyuu, Storm's Edge to triple the combat phase and convert tokens into 40 damage. A secondary equipment package (Fighter Class, Godo, Sword of Hearth and Home) can either assemble the infinite Aurelia/Sword loop or pump the board. There is no true hidden commander; Godo and Aurelia serve as alternate finishers in the 99.
