Deck overview

This Jeskai artifact midrange deck is commanded by Tetzin, Gnome Champion, focusing on double-faced artifacts and the Craft mechanic. The strategy begins by deploying cost reducers and mana rocks to cast Tetzin on Turn 3. Each double-faced artifact that enters the battlefield triggers Tetzin to mill three cards and retrieve an artifact, rapidly stocking both the hand and graveyard. On Turn 5, Tetzin crafts with six artifacts in the graveyard to become The Golden-Gear Colossus, a 6/6 trample, vigilance threat that creates Gnome tokens and cheats double-faced artifacts into their transformed sides on entry and attacks. High-impact permanents like Thousand Moons Smithy, Illustrious Wanderglyph, and Master's Guide-Mural generate a scaling army of massive artifact tokens. The deck protects its board with Padeem, Consul of Innovation and Unbreakable Formation while clearing opposing blockers using Organic Extinction to secure combat victory by Turn 8.
