Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul modified aggro and midrange strategy commanded by Chishiro, the Shattered Blade. It leverages cheap mana acceleration to deploy Chishiro on Turn 3, quickly establishing an engine that rewards Auras, Equipment, and +1/+1 counters by generating 2/2 menace Spirit tokens and growing modified creatures each end step. The deck compounds this board presence using counter multipliers like Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and The Earth Crystal. Between Turns 5 and 7, it pivots into game-ending pressure through combat multipliers like War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Akki Battle Squad, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum, alongside direct damage engines like All Will Be One. A dense package of low-cost instant-speed protection spells defends the board against conventional removal. While vulnerable to exile-based board wipes and lacking deep reactive interaction for opposing stack-based combos, the deck presents high redundancy and rapid clock speed.
