Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce leads a mono-green Bear-tribal deck that couples a +2/+2 lord effect with attack-trigger card draw. Ramp spells such as Nature's Lore and Skyshroud Claim put Beorn on turn four, and once three Bears are on board his first attack draws two cards. Draw enchantments and bear payoffs (Ayula, Queen Among Bears, Goreclaw) keep the hand full, while big mid-game threats like Titan of Industry and Old Gnawbone set up a decisive overrun. There is no double-faced commander; Ayula acts as the closest hidden-commander-style payoff. The deck can win through Craterhoof Behemoth, Pathbreaker Ibex, Overwhelming Stampede, Overrun, Triumph of the Hordes, or Finale of Devastation, so it remains functional even if Beorn is removed repeatedly.
