Deck overview

Talion, the Kindly Lord is a Dimir faerie draw-go control deck. It uses Talion as a repeatable draw/drain engine and Alela, Cunning Conqueror as a hidden commander, turning flash-cast spells into Faerie tokens on every opponent's turn. Obyra and Tegwyll convert those tokens into pings and combat damage. The deck's long game is evasive faerie beatdown with countermagic backup, but its fastest finish is Notion Thief plus Windfall, doubled by Teferi's Ageless Insight, with Psychosis Crawler draining the table. Hullbreaker Horror gives a late-game flash lock and bounce value. The plan is resilient but requires careful sequencing of the right four- and five-mana engine pieces.
