Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Monoblack Group Slug strategy piloted by Olinda the Oblivious. The primary game plan revolves around giving opponents low-value creature tokens via cards like Forbidden Orchard, Genesis Chamber, Akroan Horse, and Dowsing Dagger, and then using Olinda's enter and attack triggers to distribute odor counters across each opponent's board. Each creature with an odor counter drains its controller for 2 life at the beginning of their upkeep. The deck enhances this ticking clock with life-loss multipliers and bleed effects like Loyal Subordinate, Blood Seeker, Wound Reflection, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Defensively, the deck utilizes pillowfort artifacts like Crawlspace and Bubble Matrix alongside a dense suite of 1-mana reanimation instants that protect Olinda from destruction while doubling her enter-the-battlefield triggers. Winning requires sustaining pressure across several turn cycles while managing incoming combat aggression.
