Thorin's Company Precon by billisxman

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield leads a Boros Dwarf/Equipment deck that loads the battlefield with legendary Dwarves, artifacts, and Sagas to turn on the enduring story ward engine. He is both a two-mana ward aura and the deck's best voltron commander, but not a one-card win. The primary plan is to assemble storied, attach a large double-strike equipment to Thorin, and use Dain Ironfoot or Kili/Bruenor to equip for free; secondary paths are wide Dwarf token pump and a Treasure/Dragon subtheme through Smaug and There and Back Again. Play is a linear midrange goldfish that wins on turn 7-8 by commander damage or a wide Dwarf strike. There is no hidden commander; the Adventures are utility spells.
