Deck overview

This deck is a specialized 5-color Polymorph Control deck piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan revolves around generating cheap creature tokens during the early turns using cards like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, Staff of the Storyteller, and Lingering Souls, while developing mana with an extensive suite of 2-mana rocks. On turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his −3 ability to exile a token and cheat a massive, game-warping threat from the 99 directly onto the board. The payoff pool includes game-enders like Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Serra's Emissary, and The Ur-Sphinx. Redundant cheat spells like Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny ensure independence from the commander, while premier white-based removal and sweepers keep opposing boards under control until combat damage closes the game.
