Thorin by masi

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros Dwarf tribal deck wins by going wide with Dwarves and artifact tokens and finishing in combat. Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is a finisher and multiplier, not an engine: he creates a Treasure whenever Thorin or another Dwarf enters and gives other Dwarves +1/+0 for each artifact token you control. The primary plan floods the board with Dwarves (Fili the Pathfinder, Dain's Company, The Lonely Mountain) to stack Treasures and Equipment, then attacks with Shared Animosity or anthem buffs. Secondary paths create 6/6 Dragons from There and Back Again and The Misty Mountains Cold and generate extra Treasures with The Reaver Cleaver. Magda, Brazen Outlaw acts as a hidden commander, making Treasures when Dwarves tap and tutoring artifacts or Dragons.
