Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck executes a freeze-and-tax control strategy that weaponizes tapping and stun counters. Atraxa, Praetors' Voice serves as a resilient flying threat and an incremental value engine whose end-step proliferate ability multiplies stun counters on enemy creatures, loyalty counters on planeswalkers, and +1/+1 counters on your own threats. You control the battlefield through hard stax pieces, repetitive tap spells, and asymmetric one-sided board wipes like Sunblast Angel and Split Up. Once opposing boards are completely locked down with stun counters and tapped-creature burn engines like Mjolnir, Storm Hammer, you close out the game through overwhelming planeswalker ultimates, massive +1/+1 counter beatdown via Hylda of the Icy Crown and Solitary Sanctuary, or large evasive creatures.
