Thranduil, the Elvenking by Valaurus

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai Elf tribal deck goes wide with mana dorks and lords, then wins through combat or drain. Thranduil, the Elvenking acts as a value engine, copying activated abilities of Elves in your graveyard and drawing cards when legendary Elves enter. The primary plan builds a board of 8-12 Elves, pumps them with anthems and overruns, and attacks all opponents. Secondary paths use Lathril, Blade of the Elves to drain the table by tapping ten Elves, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to fling a large Abomination of Llanowar, and Bloodline Bidding to mass reanimate after a wipe. Prime Speaker Vannifar and Fauna Shaman serve as hidden engines that tutor the needed payoff.
