Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Betor, Ancestor's Voice commands an Abzan midrange deck that leverages life manipulation to fuel creature recursion and rapid board development. The deck blends lifegain payoffs, Cat tribal synergies, and self-inflicted life loss to maximize both halves of Betor's end step ability. By deploying lifelink beaters like Regal Caracal and damage enablers like pain lands or Snuff Out, you constantly pump threats and resurrect key permanents from your graveyard. You win through overwhelming wide combat boosted by Bast, Panther Goddess and Qala, Ajani's Pridemate, sudden burst drains via Exsanguinate or Revenge, or an alternate upkeep win condition with Felidar Sovereign.
