Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (WUBR) Polymorph and Superfriends control strategy piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap, recurring token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller during the early turns, followed by resolving Jace on Turn 4. By activating Jace's -3 ability, the deck converts cheap disposable tokens into massive, game-dominating threats like The Ur-Sphinx, Nissa, Leyline Tamer, Ob Nixilis, the Ascended, and Tamiyo, Upriser Crowned. Top-of-library cantrips like Brainstorm and Brainsurge ensure that drawn payoffs can be tucked back into the library to be cheated out. Meanwhile, a robust removal suite featuring Swords to Plowshares, Vindictive Triumph, and token-producing sweepers like Sunfall keeps opposing boards manageable. Protected by Jace's built-in combat tax, instant-speed protection like Flawless Maneuver, and combat traps like Inkshield, the deck quickly snowballs evasive combat damage to close out the table by Turn 7.
