Deck overview

This deck is a five-color legendary toolbox midrange strategy commanded by Sisay, Weatherlight Captain. The primary plan leverages Sisay's activated ability to tutor key legendary permanents directly onto the battlefield, adapting to board states with tailored answers, protection, and offensive power. In the opening turns, the deck prioritizes mana fixing and ramp using cards like Chromatic Lantern, Faeburrow Elder, and green land search. Once Sisay is active with all five colors available, she fetches engines like Shanid, Sleepers' Scourge to generate card advantage, Shalai, Voice of Plenty to shield the board, and Jodah, the Unifier to massively pump the team for lethal combat swings. The deck also includes asymmetric sweepers like Urza's Ruinous Blast and Desynchronization that preserve your historic board while wiping opposing threats. If Sisay is removed, the deck transitions smoothly into hard-casting impactful legendary creatures and leveraging Primevals' Glorious Rebirth for game-ending mass recursion.
