Deck overview

This Grixis deck is built around Sauron, the Dark Lord as a card-advantage engine, using amass and the Ring tempts to turn spell-casting into Army growth and mass card draw. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard through looting and self-mill, then reanimate high-impact threats like Sauron, Lord of the Rings and Scourge of the Throne. Saruman, the White Hand acts as a hidden commander, turning every noncreature spell into an amass trigger that grows the Army. Secondary paths include token generation from Lord of the Nazgul and burn from Fiery Inscription and Guttersnipe. The deck wins through evasive combat, extra combat phases, and graveyard recursion.
