This Grixis midrange deck harnesses Sauron, the Dark Lord to turn opponent spellcasting and combat connections into overwhelming card advantage, board presence, and graveyard velocity. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration via efficient rocks and rituals, enabling a Turn 4 deployment of Sauron. With built-in ward protection that demands the sacrifice of a legendary permanent, Sauron creates a growing Orc Army whenever opponents cast spells. In combat, Army hits trigger the Ring tempting you, which discards your hand to draw four fresh cards. This engine fuels nine copies of Nazgûl, rapidly growing your Wraith board while filling the graveyard with high-impact reanimation targets like Archfiend of Ifnir, Terror of the Peaks, and Razaketh, the Foulblooded.
