Stormy Spellslinger | Vivi Ornitier by user9967395

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger/storm deck helmed by Vivi Ornitier, built to chain cheap instants and sorceries to build massive storm counts and trigger a suite of pinger effects. The commander provides a scaling mana engine and a repeatable damage trigger, while the 99 packs Guttersnipe, Kessig Flamebreather, Firebrand Archer, and similar redundancy to drain the table. The primary win condition is a lethal Grapeshot or Brain Freeze fueled by rituals, card selection, and Underworld Breach recursion. The deck eschews infinite combos in favor of explosive storm turns, with Thousand-Year Storm and Prismari, the Inspiration providing exponential copy effects. It is a classic "run away with the game" build that accelerates rapidly once the engine is online.
